10th Annual
Winter Solstice Goddess Celebration

Saturday ~ December 20th ~ 2008
Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
W.O.W. Hall - 291 West 8th Avenue

The Winter Solstice marks the beginning of the end of the Dark of the year, the point at which the
day's light begin to grow longer. That light is
like a child within us all. This year, we welcome
you to join us as we give birth to our inner light
and take a step forward to celebrating a
strong and thriving community through song, dance, music and ritual!.

Each year, we have members of our community come forward and share with us thier talents at the begginning of the event. In the past this has included Belly Dancing, Poetry, Song, Music, Story Telling and much more. This is a great time to come together as a community and share what the Goddess means to you.

This years Ritual will begin at 8:30 and will include a Spiral Dance.

A Drum Circle will be encouraged after the Ritual
for those that want to keep dancing.
So bring your drums, rattles and other music makers,
and be a part of a magickal circle.

Celebrate the season by Dressing Up! Come as your favorite Goddess or God!

Don't forget to bring drums, rattles, loving energy,
and an offering for the Community Alter.

This is a family event with an art table set up for kids of all ages!

This year we will have over 50 door prizes!
Door prizes will be handed out after the Ritual. You must be present to win.
So come enjoy the Solstice and win yourself a great prize!
